Since I haven’t had a chance to post much this month, I thought I would join Emily and several other bloggers and share what I learned this month. Who knows, I may decide to join in every month! 
What I Learned in January 2015
- The Importance of S L O W. It is not my natural tendency to doing anything slow. I like to work fast, usually on multiple things at once. I’ve realized that this often causes me to do a mediocre job and is just plain stressful. So, I’m attempting to allow for larger margins of time between tasks and appointments to create a more peaceful atmosphere and heart for myself and my family.
- Spiritual Goals = Legalism. At least for me. Right now. In this season of life. This isn’t to say that I have stopped trying to grow spiritually, but I have found that I live by God’s grace and through His strength more fully when I don’t have a checklist of things on my mind that I’m supposed to do as a Christian.
- Make-Up is Fun! I’ve never really been into make-up. I would wear a little for special occasions, but just never really saw the need for it. This year, I decided to do something fum for myself and sign up for a monthly beauty subscription box called Birchbox. While I still don’t think make-up is a necessity and certainly won’t be making an effort to wear it every day, I’ve been having fun trying new products and learning new ways to use things.
